I think it's really understandable to be frustrated with her @Bow tbh I'm feeling a bit frustrated just hearing about it!
Being asked how you're going and being able to listen should not be something that's classed as too hard. It is disheartening to hear that's been an ongoing experience for you. I wish I could say something to change that for you, but I'm glad that at least I can listen and be here 💜

@Bow that bloody basket, grrrr. No human being is 'too hard'. You deserve to feel heard, cared for, understood.
Have you expressed your frustrations to her? No shame if you haven't, it's not easy to do.

Why’s it so hard then @Jynx ?
no I haven’t told her. That’s way too hard. Me telling her would magnify that too hard basket feeling.

Shortest possible answer to that question @Bow is because a few rich guys reckon they're entitled to 90% of the world's resources. It's a systemic issue hun, underfunded organisations = stretched thin, overloaded, potentially burnt out workers = inability to actually give the time to the people who need it.
I don't think you're 'too hard' just 'high needs' - and in my opinion the mark of an actually great civilisation ought to be how we look after those who have the highest need for it. At the moment we err... ain't doing too well at it.
Since humans are currently judged by their ability to create profit instead of simply being valued as complex, wondrous children of nature, is it any wonder the message you're getting from all corners of society is that you're a burden for being unable to function beyond just trying to survive?? When it is disconnection from your community that is part of the issue in the first place?
It's like a catch-22 hun - legit, pls be kind to yourself for struggling to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps! Cos the point of that saying is that it's literally impossible.

@Bow kitties are good! I will have to rustle up some recent photos. Wish I could find a way to share the video I took of Trixie snoring the other night, omg it's THE CUTEST.
I may be a busy lil bee 🐝 but it doesn't mean I don't have time for thee!! 😋💜

Groot snores too @Jynx! He is really quiet… like his meow, his purr, his kittie growl…. And his snore! But he snores when he is awake too! Or breaths loud. His got a couple of spots around the house that he likes to hide, and if your quiet you’ll be able to find him…. Oh and when he digs to China in his :pile_of_poo: box… oh my gosh! Speaking of, he just came over to rub his face in my clean hair.
he needs a good brush but he hates it so much.
We inspected the perfect house today. Found a spot for kittens!

@Bow omg omg omg WILL YOU BE GETTING MORE KITTIES?
Ahem... lol that's awesome tho!! Maybe it'll be the one!! 🤞
Trixie always hated being brushed, weirdly until she saw Razz getting brushed and she was like hmm ok I will give it a go
Now she goes NUTS for it lol but oddly enough Razz is way less interested? I do wonder if it's like, Trixie has claimed the brushes or if I'm reading too far into it 😅

It’s never easy to put it into words;
There is a kind of loneliness that doesn’t come from being alone but from being unseen. It is like an emotional disconnect, where the deepest parts of yourself go unnoticed, misunderstood and unvalued. It’s not the absence of people, but the absence of connection- the gap in between.
your internal world and how it is perceived.
