Hi @rav3n  no it doesn’t. Exhaustion makes the mood worse. Surviving today. Haven’t really done much. Watched a lot of tv and scrolled a whole heap.

my day's been okay, i also didn't get the best sleep. couch-rotted while rewatching Greys Anatomy, it was much needed. 

what do you have on this week?

@rav3n We have been watching a lot of 24. Mum and I have been b!nge watching it the last few weeks. Up to season 6 now. We’ve seen it all before, it was my step dad’s favorite show. I needed something familiar. Do you get that? Watch shows you’ve already seen, sometimes multiple times? 

I did need a nothing day. Life has been busy. So a day of rest was greatly appreciated. 

this week… still house hunting. Have a house Tuesday that we are really keen for. It’s got almost a whole house size downstairs for storage, with little rooms. So we could have a nice home upstairs, free of junk and clutter and we would all have a room downstairs for arts and craft, sewing and a preteen retreat and a double garage plus more! All my fingers and toes crossed. We are suppose to be out of here Tuesday. Emailed real estate last week that we wouldn’t be and heard nothing. 

anyways, apart from house hunting and hopefully moving…. Arts and craft Wednesday, psych Thursday. That’s it.

yesss! i kinda cycle between a few different shows and rewatch them - Greys Anatomy (which has like 21 seasons) i've rewatched at least 5 times, but not fully haha i usually stop around season 8-10 except this time i'm up to 17 😅 @Bow it's comforting, right? knowing exactly what's going to happen next. also find that i pick up some small, new detail that i missed every time i rewatch.

glad you got a much needed day off!! 

i really really hope your landlord let's you stay till you find a house, i can't imagine how stressful and exhausting the house hunting has been. i've got my fingers and toes crossed for you too!! with all the moving stuff, have you had any time to work on your arts/crafts at home?

Yeah it’s the comfort eh @rav3n, knowing the character. We haven’t watched 24 for such a long time, so forget a lot of it, but it’s all about attacks in America and the government and a tough guy. 

I did stop it this arvo though. Needed a break from it. So watched some true crime docos. 

nah I haven’t. I packed most of my arts and craft stuff up thinking we’d be out by now. I have been a little bored. I pulled out some Lego today, but I got it off aliexpress and you need to email the seller for the pdf instructions 😩

@Bow yepp for sure, it's so interesting to me how some fictional characters can feel so comforting without even interacting with us! ahh yep, what true crime docs are you watching? 

noooo!! that's so annoying, hopefully they send those instructions through soon - what was the lego set of?

Hmm something on Netflix… can’t remember the name of it @rav3n 

It was some Alice in wonderland character brickheadz. Not ones that Lego have actually put out so can’t even look online for them. Just have to wait.

Mr Groot is good. Always finding somewhere new to snooze the day away. He should be up soon staring at me waiting for dinner. 
D is good too. Forever pushing all my buttons 😩

ughh dang, not even on the internet!? i don't get why they're making the instructions so hard to access, makes it feel like its some sort of confidential document 😅 @Bow 

aww glad he's well, and the foster kitties got a new home a few weeks ago right? 

classic kid superpower — knowing exactly where every button is and mashing them all at once!! is D like you when you were young? or do you both have different personalities?

Yeah I had a good search online but couldn’t find anything. I’ve left a message to the seller to send them through to me asap @rav3n 

kitties are all still up for adoption 😞 their desexing surgery went well. Now they just sit and wait. Wait for their forever homes. Which is a little sad. Hopefully they don’t have to wait too long. Some animals sadly sit and wait for a long time. Sometimes foster carers will take those animals that have been waiting for a long time home for a break. 

I don’t really remember what I was like when I was her age. Too many things going on in my life back then. But D is very creative. I wish her bedroom floor didn’t always show that though! She has obsessions…. Currently they are dragons, wings of fire, making cardboard dragon hand puppets. I think there is currently like 15 of them in her bedroom. 

did you do anything for Mother’s Day today? Or is it a difficult day for you?
