thank you @Glisten , @Till23 , @Healandlove , @Dimity , @Ru-bee , @rav3n
yes my insulin nurses saw my last 2 weeks of my sugar numbers
and my mid afternoon numbers are in the high, so they want me to increase my lunchtime dose and write down everything I eat to find out why my sugars are high before having dinner

what makes it harder @rav3n , @Glisten , @Till23 , @Healandlove , @Dimity , @Appleblossom , @Ru-bee , @Jynx
is that the Kidney specialist said it will be harder to control the diabetes because of the kidney failing

I feel for you @Shaz51 because the kidneys clear things it makes a difference and needing to know kidney function and BSL. They are trying to work out the correct dose of insulin, which will be changing as kidney functions changes, so that's why they want so much info from you. Once you are settled on dialysis it will become easier.

my mum's side of the family has a lot diabetics, i've heard from them how exhausting it can be to juggle sugar levels, BP, kidney/liver health, exercise, etc. the start is tricky, with all these new stuff thrown at you and trying to figure out what to do, but i hope that with time, it'll slowly get easier to manage and feel less stressful. @Shaz51 we're here for you all the way 💙

It's no so much about educating the health professionals @Jynx It's that they can't decide on something if they don't know certain information that, unless a person is in hsopital, they have to ask the person. They are asking for information to optimise treatment so @Shaz51 can have the best outcome
Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh, and you can delete it if you like, but I think people need to have confidence in their health professionals, the relationship is very important.
